The Easter Service times will be late getting on the web. However:

On Saturday 3rd April we celebrate the Raising of Lazarus, friend of Christ and first Bishop of Kition (If you didn't know that's in Cyprus!)
The Liturgy will be in Greek from 9:00-11am. There is also a Children's Liturgy for students of the Greek School in the afternoon - between 2:00 and 3:00. This is also in Greek, but in a way intended to teach about the liturgy.

On Sunday 4th April it is Palm Sunday.

English Liturgy 7:00am - 9:00am followed by tea and breakfast
Greek Liturgy 9:00am-12:30

In the Evening there is the Service of the Bridegroom (tou Nymfiou) from 7-8:30 pm (in Greek)

Translations of the Easter Week services can be found here:

Apologies to all.
The site was updated in October. However, the ISP had some technical problems, and we were unable to put the new pages we had created on the site. Unfortunately, it has been off-line for a week - while many phone-calls have been made back and forth to the service provider (the problem lay with them and Microsoft programming - what else!)

Anyway THE GOOD NEWS IS the site is back on line - but still in need of work!
The one major addition are the CHRISTMAS PAGES

We especially hope that you like the sound page
(then click on the listen pages for external links)

We hope they are useful

Please let me know if you see any major errors - broken links etc

For your information:
Next English Liturgy: 20th December 2003

The website has been rather neglected of late because so much has been going on at Church preparing for the feast of SAINT DEMETRIOS which will cover FOUR days this year!
Details to be added to the site soon.

Also DON'T FORGET - BIBLE AND FAITH STUDIES are held every Friday Evening (in English and Greek) where everybody gets the chance to learn more about our Orthodox Christian faith. Just turn up at the Church at 8pm.

We had the great honour of the Archbishop visiting us in today, the Sunday of Orthodoxy. He celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil, and gave a unique sermon involving the children of the parish and the icons they were holding, explaining why we have icons and the importance of bearing the name Christian. The usual litany was held, with people in procession around the icons.
He also swore in the new Parish Council, and joined them for some lenten fare afterwards.
